Clearer, More Consistent Product Designations Across Our Portfolio
As part of the ongoing evolution of sefiso | FAUDI Aviation, we continue to simplify and modernise how we communicate product information across our portfolio.
To support this effort, we are introducing an updated nomenclature for filter elements and vessels. The new naming structure makes product identification more intuitive, improves consistency across documentation and systems, and helps customers quickly recognise key product characteristics.
Please note: The products themselves remain unchanged. Performance, approvals, qualifications and specifications are not affected by this update.
Which products are affected?
The new nomenclature is being introduced immediately for the following filter elements:
- T-Type coalescer elements
- S-Type coalescer elements

Whereas the previous designation contained only limited information, the new designation now includes all relevant information.

Special Cases
MIL-. K- and Y- Elements
MIL-, K- and Y- Elements will only be renamed following completion of the respective qualification process. Current product designations therefore remain unchanged for the time being.
2" Coalescer Elements
2" P-and MIL-Type coalescer elements will retain their current nomenclature until the new GridClick vessel addition is available.
FWE and FW6 Vessels
FWE and FW6 designations will remain unchanged.
Transition Period
For a limited period, both old and new product designations may appear in parallel on:
- Quotations
- Order confirmations
- Technical documentation
- Datasheets
- Price lists
- Certificates
Cross-reference information will be provided wherever required.
This update provides no changes to product performance, it is solely intended to improve product identification and standardisation.
